The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
This will be a rematch of their iconic battle in Super Bowl LVII two years ago.
In that game, the Chiefs won their first of what could be three consecutive championships if they can complete the three-peat on Sunday.
To prepare for the big game, the Chiefs made two final roster moves ahead of Sunday’s matchup.
This ensured they had all the reinforcements they needed against a tough Eagles team out for revenge.
The Chiefs announced on X that they had activated linebacker Swayze Bozeman and cornerback Steven Nelson from the practice squad via standard elevation.

Bozeman appeared in five of the past seven games for the Chiefs this season as an undrafted rookie, including the two postseason wins, while Nelson has spent the entire year on the practice squad.
Nelson is a veteran who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Chiefs.
In 2018, he recorded 68 tackles and four interceptions for the squad.
He also played all 17 games for the Houston Texans last season and recorded four interceptions, so this is an interesting call-up for Kansas City since Nelson has legitimate NFL experience and has had a lot of success during his decade in the business.
Kansas City’s defense will have its hands full dealing with a team that is aiming to become the highest-scoring team in postseason history, coming off a record 55 points in the NFC Championship game.
