Monday night gave NBA fans something truly special as the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder squared off in a big preseason game.
This was a chance for everyone to see the first faceoff between Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren.
These two seven-foot wonders made it a night to remember, with both fighting hard with their immense power and skill.
At one point early in the game, Wembanayma earned a foul after getting physical with Holmgren in the paint.
Following the game, Holmgreen hopped on Twitter to comment on Wembanyama’s apparent headbutt.
“The headbutt is an unstoppable move fasho,” Holmgren said with laughing emojis and a handshake one, signifying that everything is cordial between the two.

This will not be the last time that Wembanyama and Holmgren meet on the court and their matchups will only get better.
During Monday’s game, Wembanyama scored 20 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes while Holmgren produced 21 and 9 rebounds in 16 minutes.
This was the best of the best when it comes to young NBA talent – and they delivered.
Fans of the Spurs were happy to see Wembanyama get a bit more physical during the game.
Despite his obvious skills and potential, one of the fears about him is that he may not be strong enough to make an impact during his first season in the league.
He is certainly still slim but he isn’t afraid of making contact and getting rough with other players.
Holmgren proved a few things of his own too.
After missing out on his first year in the league, the rookie has also added some mass and is showing that he hasn’t missed a beat and could still be the missing piece the Thunder need.
This will be an exciting year for both incoming stars.
