The Los Angeles Chargers finished the 2022 regular season with a 10-7 record, their best since 2018.
They have been led by a combination of elite defensive play, significant contributions from Justin Herbert, and a myriad of additional offensive weapons.
However, the health of their offensive stars has been an issue all season, and the Chargers received a devastating blow to their receiver room just days before their Wild Card matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Chargers WR Mike Williams suffered a small non-surgical fracture in his back that was not found in initial X-ray and MRI. After Williams did not progress this week, further tests were ran that revealed the fracture, sources told ESPN. He is expected to miss 2-3 weeks.

According to this most recent update of Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams, the team could be without him for two-three weeks, and unless the team makes the Super Bowl, will likely not play again until the 2023 regular season.
Williams has been a key contributor for the Chargers when he has been healthy.
Unfortunately for the Chargers, both Williams and fellow wideout Keenan Allen have battled injuries this season, leaving Herbert with less-than-deal replacements while they are sidelined.
The nice thing for the Chargers is that running back Austin Ekeler has been healthy for the majority of the season.
Ekeler is one of, if not the best receiving back in the league, and has stepped up in a big way not only on the ground game but through the passing attack as well.
Being without Williams this week will be challenging for Herbert and the Chargers, considering that the Jaguars have been clicking as a team unit as of late, and are fully healthy on the offensive side of the ball.
Will the Chargers be able to overcome injuries this weekend?
