NFL training camps are off and running.
With slightly more than a month before the regular season begins, teams are working diligently with the ultimate goal in mind: the Lombardi Trophy.
At the Las Vegas Raiders camp, there was alleged tension between Maxx Crosby and new quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo.
As Tashan Reed reported via Dov Kleiman, Crosby was forced to run a lap after this interaction.
In the aftermath of these reports, Cam Jordan, a top defensive player in the league, commented on the situation.
“Trenches are meant to be played with passion, fire and intensity + it’s camp,” Jordan tweeted.

As Jordan indicates, training camp can sometimes be fueled with intensity.
Travis Kelce, one of the league’s biggest stars, recently got into it with a few of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
While this was initially made out as a big deal, ultimately, it was chalked up to passion and love for the game.
Garoppolo is a new addition to the Raiders after the team moved on from quarterback Derek Carr.
Although new quarterbacks are exciting, they can add frustration to a team’s offense as they begin to build chemistry with their new receivers.
Garoppolo is a seasoned veteran, but it still takes time to adjust to a new scheme.
This situation between him and Crosby could have just been out of frustration, which is a growing pain between the two.
Regardless, Garoppolo only has a few more weeks to get this offense right.
