The Milwaukee Bucks have worked to beef up their roster over the summer, but the upcoming season will still be a tough one for them.
According to Kendrick Perkins, the team is missing out by not signing an available free agent and former MVP.
Perkins thinks the Bucks should pursue Russell Westbrook, who remains without a team with just a few weeks to go before the season starts.
“I think he should be on the Milwaukee Bucks right now, I really do,” Perkins said.

There have been numerous people calling on Milwaukee to acquire Westbrook, but the team doesn’t seem interested.
Westbrook would bring a lot to the team, and he wouldn’t cost them much.
He has a lot of experience, an unstoppable motor, and is a good ball handler and facilitator.
There are many complaints about him and his on-court decision-making process, but Westbrook still has a ton of assets.
Plus, he would come to the Bucks on a cheap contract, because they would only give him a veteran’s minimum.
There are a few teams that could be helped by Westbrook, but he is still at home, waiting for a phone call.
The Bucks feel they have enough support on the frontcourt, but they could soon experience a rude awakening.
They need an excellent season, or else there will be even more rumors about Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving.
If they don’t get off to a great start, they might think twice about passing on Westbrook.
Perhaps the Bucks are just waiting a bit longer and weighing their options about bringing in Westbrook.
Or maybe they really just don’t think he would move the needle much.
