Come to think of it, all of the major updates from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the offseason involved quarterback Tom Brady.
He retired after the Buccaneers lost to the Los Angeles Rams and cited that his competitive drive isn’t there anymore.
However, he ended his retirement after 40 days and before Bruce Arians stepped down as head coach.
Rumor has it that Brady’s return is directly related to the transition from Arians to Todd Bowles.
Recently, Brady has been out of training camp for a while after going on a vacation in the Bahamas with his family.
His return did coincide with Bowles’ earlier statement that Brady would return after the Buccaneers’ preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.
Now that he’s back in the fold, his availability for the team’s final preseason game is in question.
Bowles answered that concern, as shared by Tampa Bay Times reporter Rick Stroud.
Tom Brady will start Saturday’s game at Indy, Todd Bowles said. Any player who is healthy will play.

Stroud tweeted, “Tom Brady will start Saturday’s game at Indy, Todd Bowles said. Any player who is healthy will play.”
Their preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts will be their general rehearsal before the season starts.
Therefore, Brady and the other starters will take the field but not finish the game.
A few sequences will be enough to get themselves acclimatized with football again.
Buccaneers’ Grueling Early Schedule
After starting the season against the Dallas Cowboys, they will be on the road for Week 2 versus the New Orleans Saints, a team that defeated them twice last season.
Then, the Buccaneers will have their first home game in Week 3 against Aaron Rodgers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a rematch of the 2020 NFC Championship Game.
In Week 4, Brady and the Bucs will welcome Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
