Bryce Harper is going to be back soon.
The Philadelphia Phillies have been without the reigning National League MVP since June after he was hit by a pitch from Blake Snell.
Harper is currently on a rehab assignment with the Phillies’ Triple-A affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, and is already back to his old ways.
Harper crushed two home runs last night, showing that he is more than ready to get back to the big leagues and help the Phillies down the stretch, while also showing that he is simply too good for the minor leagues, even if he’s just on a rehab assignment.
Not one but TWO homers last night for Bryce Harper in a rehab appearance with @IronPigs! 😳

Harper Puts On A Show
Harper is ready to go.
He’s been out for a long time and the Phillies are going to benefit from finally getting him back.
Two home runs is a pretty good game, especially for a rehab game.
Harper is just too good for the minor leagues.
He’s always going to crush those pitchers and put on a show.
That’s precisely what he ended up doing last night.
It’s clear that the wrist injury is no longer an issue, and that Harper is back in full force.
The pitchers down at Triple-A clearly can’t contain him.
This rehab assignment is going to be a breeze for him if he keeps crushing home runs like that, and it seems rather likely that he’ll continue to do that against these minor league pitchers.
Pitchers in the Major Leagues can hardly contain him, so there’s no reason to think that the pitchers down at Triple-A would have any sort of success against him.
He can’t be stopped at Triple-A.
Soon, pitchers in the NL East will realize that when he returns.
