On Monday of this week, the Cleveland Browns fired their defensive coordinator, Joe Woods.
Woods was the DC for the Browns for three seasons.
Although the Browns’ defense wasn’t necessarily their biggest problem this season, someone had to be the scapegoat, which in this case, happened to be Woods.
Just two days removed from this firing, the Browns are already looking ahead to next season.
Sources: The Browns will interview Tennessee's Jim Schwartz tomorrow, and Pittsburgh's Brian Flores on Thursday for their defensive coordinator job, per sources.

Today, the Browns will be interviewing Jim Schwartz and will also be interviewing Brian Flores on Thursday for their defensive coordinator position.
Schwartz has been the defensive assistant for the Tennessee Titans for the past two seasons but has been a coach in the NFL for over 25 years.
His tenure as defensive coordinator for the Titans, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles provides extensive experience in this position and would be a great addition to the Browns team that has been lacking senior leadership.
Although he certainly has fewer years of experience, Flores would also be a great addition to the Browns.
He was a member of the New England Patriots coaching organization for over ten seasons before spending time with the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Of the two, at least on paper, it appears that Schwartz has more tenure than Flores, and is seemingly the better fit.
However, it remains to be seen how these two interviews will go, and the NFL world will be waiting to see what direction the Browns decide to go.
The Browns only have one winning season in the last ten years, and will look to get their franchise back on track with a new hire at DC.
