When Andy Reid was head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, he had a reputation as a good coach who couldn’t win that one game to get over the hump.
But these days, with three Super Bowl championships to his name and possibly another one coming with the Kansas City Chiefs, he is regarded as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history.
The 66-year-old likely won’t be coaching for many more seasons, but Brian Westbrook, a former Eagles running back who played for Reid, said he likely won’t be stepping away anytime soon.
“If he keeps winning championships, why would he ever stop? As long as you have Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback, if you’re Andy Reid, you just keep coaching,” Westbrook said on “Up & Adams.”
When does Brian Westbrook think his former HC Andy Reid will hang up the headset for good?? ?

After coaching the Eagles from 1999 to 2012, Reid was hired by the Chiefs in 2013, and though they were a good team in his early years with them, they won just one playoff game from 2013 to 2017.
Everything changed following the 2017 season when Reid decided to turn to Mahomes, who had just completed a rookie season in which he played just one game as the backup to veteran Alex Smith.
The result was a Super Bowl championship in Mahomes’ second season as a starter and two more in the past two seasons.
The Chiefs now face the Eagles with a shot at winning their third straight Super Bowl title, which is something no NFL team has ever done.
A victory could truly cement Reid among the league’s most legendary coaches, a group that includes Vince Lombardi, Bill Walsh, Bill Belichick and Don Shula.
