At 67-36, the Atlanta Braves have the best record in baseball.
They are the deepest, most powerful team in the league.
They are, however, looking to add some arms to aid their pursuit of a World Series championship.
“Braves — baseball’s best team — is looking for pitching, including back-end bullpen help. Hader is likely unvailable and Bednar not too likely to move, but if anyone can figure anything out, it’s the Braves,” MLB insider Jon Heyman tweeted.

The rich are apparently looking to get even richer.
Braves pitchers have the seventh-best ERA in baseball at 3.87.
When it comes to the bullpen, they are sixth with a 3.67 ERA.
As you can see, the units are very good.
The Braves want them to be elite, though.
As Heyman states, the Pittsburgh Pirates are looking unlikely to move David Bednar and his excellent 1.27 ERA this season.
The same thing can be said about the San Diego Padres and Josh Hader, although they could be more open to a move than the Pirates.
In any case, if the Braves can pull off any of those two deals, they would be incredibly hard to beat in October.
There are more relief arms available in the market.
Brooks Raley of the New York Mets could be had, although it’s hard to see the two NL East traditional rivals matching up for a trade.
The Colorado Rockies have Justin Lawrence and Brad Hand, and the Washington Nationals also have some useful relievers.
If the Braves really want to add to their bullpen, they shouldn’t find too much difficulty in their quest.
