The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have been rivals for many years, and it has resulted in one of the most heated rivalries in the entire NFL.
Many are picking both teams to miss the playoffs this season, but it didn’t stop the league from scheduling them to play each other in Week 1, a week in which the league often looks to schedule marquee matchups.
Chicago safety Jaquan Brisker talked some trash and poured some fuel on the rivalry when he said that he hates Green Bay, via Daniel Greenberg on Twitter.

Last season, the Bears had the worst record in the league at 3-14, and it earned them the top pick in April’s draft.
They had the opportunity to take Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud, both of whom are highly regarded quarterbacks, but instead, they opted to trade that top pick to the Carolina Panthers.
That trade netted them DJ Moore, who has been one of the game’s more productive wide receivers over the last few years, and Chicago is hoping he will help quarterback Justin Fields develop and tap into his potential.
Meanwhile, the Packers weren’t much better in 2022, as they went 8-9 and had to deal with the departure of star wide receiver Davante Adams and a down year from Aaron Rodgers.
Of course, Rodgers is now on the East Coast with the New York Jets, and thus the Jordan Love era has begun for Green Bay.
But no matter how much Green Bay and Chicago may struggle, their rivalry will always be a spark of excitement for their respective fanbases.
