The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the best teams in the NBA to start the season.
They have a record of 8-1 through nine games and are on an eight-game winning streak.
One key reason for their early season success has been the play of Donovan Mitchell.
Cleveland acquired Mitchell in the offseason for a large package of players and picks.
So far that looks like one of the best moves in franchise history.
The Cavaliers have not had a perennial All-Star since LeBron James left.

Now with Mitchell and the ascension of Darius Garland, the Cavs look to be back in championship contention.
Also, Cleveland surprisingly leads the NBA in average point differential with +12.3.
But, playing in a top-heavy Eastern Conference, are the Cavs the team to beat?
Despite their hot start, the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics should be the teams to beat in the East.
Eastern Conference Race
The Celtics are the reigning Eastern Conference champions and look to have another strong season ahead.
Even without head coach Ime Udoka, the Celtics should be able to return to the Eastern Conference Finals.
But, the Cavs are already 2-0 against the Celtics this season.
Those two would make for a very entertaining playoff series.
But, the team to watch is the Bucks.
Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are the early favorites to win the East.
Milwaukee is 9-0 on the season, and Giannis is once again playing at an MVP level.
The Eastern Conference race will be very competitive all season.
With the Bucks, Celtics, and Cavs as favorites to win the conference.
