The Dallas Mavericks will face the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Tuesday night, giving fans a chance to see two of the biggest teams in the West battle each other.
But it’ll also be the first time Klay Thompson returns to the Warriors since leaving the team in the summer.
Speaking on “Run It Back”, Chandler Parsons said it would be “absolutely shameful” if any Warriors fans booed Thompson upon his return.
Thankfully, he doesn’t think that is going to happen and Thompson will be welcomed back with open arms.
Will Warriors fans boo Klay Thompson tonight? ?

The Warriors plan to celebrate Thompson before the game.
They have a tribute video ready to go and are handing out captain hats to fans, a nod to Thompson’s love of sailing his boat to games.
Parsons said that the Mavericks star will have his jersey retired in the Bay Area someday.
He also added that he will likely get a statue from the Warriors too.
It doesn’t matter that he left Golden State, Thompson is still considered a legend by the team.
He was a major part of their four championships and was one-half of the world-famous Splash Brothers.
Unlike many other NBA divorces, this one didn’t happen because Thompson hated the team or the people associated with it.
There is no bad blood between him and the Warriors and the fans still love him, even though he is gone.
Paul George recently heard boos when he played against his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers.
But that probably won’t happen with Thompson and the Warriors on Tuesday evening.
