A few months ago, it seemed like there was plenty of doom and gloom surrounding the Baltimore Ravens.
Lamar Jackson had been embroiled in a long standoff with management regarding a new contract, and it seemed like he was one step away from leaving the team.
But the team finally caved in and gave him a five-year deal worth a whopping $260 million.
Baltimore also brought in wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., a three-time Pro Bowler, and they drafted Zay Flowers, a wideout who is thought to have lots of potential.
It has led many to now have high hopes for the Ravens, and analyst Adam Schein feels it will all add up to Jackson’s best season yet, per NFL on CBS.

Schein pointed out that per a conversation he had with Jackson, the quarterback is fully healthy after missing the last five games of the 2022 regular season with a knee injury.
Jackson also told Schein that Beckham is looking like a younger version of himself and that Jackson is loving what he is seeing from Flowers.
Beckham and Flowers are joining one of the NFL’s best tight ends in Mark Andrews, a man who had 847 yards and five touchdowns in 2022 while being named to the Pro Bowl for the third time in five seasons.
The Ravens also have a stout defense, especially against the run, that is led by All-Pro First-Team selections Roquan Smith and Marlon Humphrey.
The team may not be able to match the firepower of the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North, but perhaps they can hold off the improved Cleveland Browns to finish second in the division and be able to make some noise in the playoffs.
