After almost two full seasons, the Aaron Rodgers experiment for the New York Jets has been a bust, with the franchise unable to get back on track, even with a four-time NFL MVP at quarterback.
The Jets were thought to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender coming into the 2024 NFL season with Rodgers healthy and ready to get back to work, but things haven’t gone as planned, and New York looks like the same team it was without the superstar under center.
With the Jets limping to the finish line, Rodgers’ future as their starting quarterback is in doubt, as it is not beyond the realm of possibility that he gets benched before the end of the season and isn’t brought back next year.
The 41-year-old recently opened up about his time in New York and claimed he doesn’t regret coming to play for the Jets.
“I don’t have any regrets about coming to New York. In fact, I’m so thankful. If I hadn’t come to New York, my life wouldn’t look the way it does now,” Rodgers said on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

Although Rodgers appears to be content with his time with the Jets up to this point, it’ll be interesting to see what happens during the offseason and if he stays with the team, or isn’t brought back if he wants to stay.
Only time will tell what will happen with Rodgers and how this will impact his legacy moving forward.
