The New York Jets will be in the spotlight from day one.
They added a future Hall-of-Famer at the quarterback position to a team that was already on the rise, but things won’t be that easy for them.
They play in one of the most competitive divisions and the most stacked conference in the league, which is why they’ll have plenty of work to do to live up to their status as contenders.
That’s why it was such a big thing to see Aaron Rodgers arriving at the team’s training camp for the very first time, officially kickstarting a new era in his career and for the ever-struggling franchise, as seen via the team’s Twitter account.

Even if he hasn’t played a single official snap for the team, he’s already the greatest quarterback to ever lace them up for the organization, but he still needs to catch the legendary Joe Namath in their ranks by leading them to a Super Bowl win.
The Jets will give Rodgers a plethora of offensive weapons at his disposal, from star running back Breece Hall to reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson.
They also have one of the most stacked defensive units in the league and are well-coached by HC Robert Saleh.
Truth be told, there has never been a more exciting time to be a Jets fan than today.
Paper doesn’t win championships, but it’s hard to envision this team not going deep into the playoffs with the kind of roster they’ve put together.
