The Philadelphia 76ers have been at the forefront of many conversations throughout the NBA offseason.
Many around the league have wondered what is next for this team, especially how they’ll continue to compete.
Joel Embiid is a cornerstone of this roster, but the supporting pieces are often called into question.
Ahead of training camp, the 76ers have added a veteran player alongside Embiid.
Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the 76ers signed Danny Green to a one-year contract.

Green is a 15-year NBA veteran and has spent time with six different organizations.
He was a member of the 76ers from 2020-2021 but recently has played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Green only appeared in eight games last season for the Cavaliers and didn’t start in any of them.
His veteran presence will be welcomed into the 76ers’ locker room as they attempt to make a deeper playoff run.
Anchored by Embiid, the 76ers also have Tyrese Maxey, James Harden, and Tobias Harris at their disposal.
While all of these athletes are talented in their respects, they haven’t quite been able to put everything together.
This has resulted in three straight seasons with losses in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
They are itching to make it back to the NBA Finals for the first time since the 2000-2001 season.
Have the 76ers added enough pieces to this roster to make their dream a reality?
That remains to be seen.
They have a lot to figure out before the new season begins, a fresh start on this journey.
