The Green Bay Packers are fresh off an expected win over the New York Giants, bringing their record to 6-3-1, which is good for second place in the NFC North. They’re behind only the Chicago Bears, who have a surprising 7-3 record given their preseason expectations.
As many figured coming into the year, this division is shaping up to be among the best in the league, as the Detroit Lions find themselves with a 6-4 record. This race could come down to the wire, and as Kalshi Sports noted on X, all three of these teams have a chance at bringing it home.
Currently, they have the Lions as 42% favorites, the Packers at 38%, and the Bears at 20%, even though they have the best record in the division. The Packers have already beaten the Lions, which helps their tie-breaker down the road, but there’s a lot of season left to be played.
Kalshi is showing that the NFC North is a true 3-horse race at this point in the season.

The Packers and Minnesota Vikings are facing off this weekend, and if the Packers can pull off another divisional win, they’ll put themselves in a much more favorable situation moving forward. Playing the Vikings this week, the Lions next week on Thanksgiving, and the Bears the following week is going to be a great test for this team and their ability to pull away from their division-mates.
They are dealing with some health concerns, and losing Tucker Kraft for the year was a devastating blow to their offense. But if Green Bay can make some magic happen with who they have left healthy on the roster, this team could go on a run, especially if they figure out the NFC North, which features some of the best teams in the conference.
