Williamson celebrated his 22nd birthday this last week which is obviously a cause for celebration.
But instead of going out with friends and spending a night on the town, Williamson decided to hoop it up with kids at his basketball camp in New Orleans.
Camper: “my stepdad is as tall as you!”@Zionwilliamson: “what does that mean?”
Camper: “He plays better defense than you – and offense!”
Zion: “you don’t even believe that!”
Camper: “I still think you are the best player though!” 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/L1HnzUFVpW

During the camp, Williamson interacted with his new young friends.
One of those kids decided to talk some smack to the former number one draft pick.
“My stepdad is as tall as you,” one child told Williamson.
“What does that mean?” Williamson asked.
The kid replied with, “He plays better defense than you – and offense!”
A humored Williamson responded: “You don’t even believe that!”
The kid left the chat on a good note, saying, “I still think you are the best player though!”
We don’t know who this child’s stepfather is but it’s very unlikely he even comes close to Williamson, who is about to remind the entire NBA how special and talented he is.
Zion Is Back
Williamson has been out of the league for more than a year now due to injury and rehabilitation.
While he was away, rumors raged about him wanting to leave the Pelicans, being out of shape, and not communicating with his teammates.
But in the last few months, Williamson has come back into the spotlight looking great and seemingly feeling wonderful too.
It seems like the big man is very ready to rejoin his New Orleans squad and help them have a stellar season.
They did quite well without him, holding their own although they got pushed out of the first round of the playoffs.
But if Williamson is really back in fine form, that’s just a taste of what they can accomplish.
