We haven’t seen Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans play basketball in over a year due to a foot injury.
His Pelicans are currently battling to make the playoffs and they’re doing better than expected but Williamson sure is missed.
However, he may be back when the next season begins.
And if his latest workouts are any indication, he could be just as powerful as he once was.

Before Wednesday night’s victory over the San Antonio Spurs, Williamson took to the floor and showed off a great 360 dunk.
As ESPN reporter Cassidy Hubbarth points out, Williamson is still out indefinitely but is progressing quite well and is continuing 5-on-5 work.
Is it just a matter of time before we see Williamson doing this in an actual NBA game?
Return Of Zion
There is a lot of hope that Williamson is back in uniform when the next season begins.
That’s great news for the fans of the Pelicans, especially because some people were starting to think he’ll never come back.
There was an endless stream of rumors that Williamson was unhappy in New Orleans and was looking to depart the team.
Some fans were worried that Williamson would demand a trade the moment his foot was healed.
Lately, Williamson has put many of those fears to rest by sitting courtside for his team and cheering them on.
Plus, he’s been showing off his rehabilitation with clips like the 360 dunk from Wednesday.
Williamson is obviously getting healthier and he is obviously still supporting his team.
All signs point to him coming back to New Orleans as soon as he can.
