It sure is great to have Zion Williamson back with the New Orleans Pelicans.
That’s what fans of the team are thinking because Williamson has been doing wonderful work for his team.
Just last season, the Pels were struggling to make the playoffs – a feat they did eventually accomplish.
But they are surging this year and currently sit in third place in the West with a 12-8 record.
Williamson is a major part of that with his average of 25.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

Williamson had a big night on Monday, posting 23 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 105-101 win.
Monday was his 100th career game and it was a big one.
His 2,524 total points are the most from a player through 100 career games since Michael Jordan scored 2,721 through his first 100 games.
To be in the same class as Jordan is a huge, monumental honor that few players get to have.
Williamson is young, driven, and finally healthy.
What’s his ceiling?
Pels To The Playoffs
If the Pelicans continue to perform as they have been, the playoffs are a foregone conclusion.
Obviously, a lot can change between now and the postseason but, right now, New Orleans is on track to go far.
Williamson is back in fine form and has really taken the team to the next level, as expected.
However, fans are still fearful that he could be taken out due to injury.
The young man is obviously injury-prone and worries about losing him again hang over the team like a dark cloud.
He has already missed five games so far this season, proving that those worries aren’t entirely unfounded.
For now, fans of the team are focusing on the positive, like the fact that Williamson is looking like a generational talent.
