Unless you are living under a rock, you know that New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson has been making headlines lately.
Therefore, there’s no need to elaborate on why he has been making rounds among sports news platforms.
But instead of letting the situation get to him, he’d rather focus on the task at hand which is to help the Jets become winners.
That’s why he had to let everyone know that they are already putting in the work even before training camp starts.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport shared a screenshot of Wilson’s latest Instagram update.
Rapoport said, “#Jets QB Zach Wilson turns on his phone…”
Meanwhile, Wilson said, “Took the boys to @gozzerranchclub in Idaho before camp! Poor cell service…what I miss?”
Well, he did miss a lot, but he’d rather look into the future.
After all, he has a lot to prove after an unimpressive rookie season.
Yes, the former BYU standout threw for 2,334 yards and nine touchdowns in his first NFL season.
But it won’t help the Jets if he will complete 55.6 percent of his passes and have 11 interceptions again.
As a consolation, he did add four rushing touchdowns.
A Promising Jets Roster
The team made sure that Wilson will have talented players around him.
That’s why they drafted wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Wilson will join a receiving corps that has Denzel Mims, Braxton Berrios, Elijah Moore, and Corey Davis.
Meanwhile, Hall could be the starter of the backfield unit which also features Tevin Coleman, and Michael Carter.
The 2022 draft haul could help the Jets become legitimate contenders again.
But for that to happen, Wilson must also elevate his game.
