Zac Taylor’s tenure in charge of the Cincinnati Bengals didn’t get off to the best start.
His coaching and decision-making skills left a lot to be desired when he first arrived in Ohio, and even when things started to improve, some fans thought he was holding their offense back more often than not.
But Taylor deserves plenty of credit for the recent turnaround in team culture.
The team went from having the worst record in the league to making it to the Super Bowl, and while the front office and their talented youngsters deserve most of the flowers, Taylor has also stepped up to silence the doubters.
Notably, Bengals fans should now be pleased to know that their coach has fallen in love with the city and has no intention whatsoever of leaving any time soon:
“They’re gonna have to carry me out of here in a casket,” Taylor said, per Cincy Problems. “I love it in Cincinnati… I just can’t imagine myself anywhere else.”

Taylor has become a popular figure in Cincinnati for constantly giving away game balls and team apparel to local fans after wins, which also speaks volumes of his commitment and love for the city.
The Bengals will be competitive for years to come, considering most of their core is still on rookie deals and has yet to tap into their full potential.
Moreover, it’s become evident that the players have bought into Taylor’s system and philosophy as much as he’s bought into their skills, and that’s always a recipe for success.
So, don’t worry, Bengals fans.
The season didn’t end as you all expected, but you better believe they’ll be back to the big game sooner or later.NEXT: Video Shows Why Bengals Fans Will Be Back In 2023
