Fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers wanted two of their biggest stars – Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen – to participate in Sunday’s All-Star Game and they got what they wished for.
And those fans surely walked away very happy with the results.
Garland and Allen came alive during Sunday’s game, playing well with the rest of their squad but especially with one another.

The night was filled with highlights of Allen and Garland feeding the ball to each other and landing impressive shots and dunks together.
In fact, the All-Star Game sometimes resembled a Cavaliers game because these two were making themselves so well known.
If you haven’t been paying attention to the Cavs this year, Sunday’s All-Star Game was a huge reminder that you should be.
Dangerous Duo
The Cavs are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 35-23, just two-and-a-half games from the top of the standings.
This is far, far better than many people expected from them.
Cleveland’s wonderful season is partly due to Garland and Allen, who are just some of the star players lighting up the Cavs’ roster.
With Allen’s size and Garland’s ball-handling and play-making abilities, the Cavs are becoming one of the best teams in the entire league.
Last night, Allen secured two powerful dunks in his first two touches.
After that, he was part of other huge plays.
As for Garland, he was looking a lot like Ja Morant, Chris Paul, or some of the other best guards in the league.
The All-Star Game was a great way for unaware NBA fans to finally take note of Garland and Allen and it was yet another indicator that they will be a problem for the competition in this year’s postseason.
