When you win 50 of your first 67 games, it means you are probably doing things the right way.
The 50-17 New York Yankees, as you probably can imagine, are the best team in baseball by record, run differential (+145) and by the eye test, too.
They have very few weak spots; otherwise they wouldn’t have a 12-game cushion in their own division.
Everybody is doing well in their lineup, one of the most potent offenses in baseball.
Fans and people voting in the All-Star Game process have acknowledged the Yankees’ greatness so far in 2022.
Most of their starters either lead their position in the voting process or are near the top.
According to Talkin’ Yanks, here’s where the Yankees rank in All Star voting at each position right now.

Several Yankees Are Among The Leaders In Votes For The All-Star Game
Alejandro Kirk of the Toronto Blue Jays has been, unquestionably, the gold standard in the American League at the catcher position, but it’s refreshing to see Jose Trevino being recognized by the fan base.
He came over to the Yankees in an unheralded trade to be a backup, and has earned a starting role.
Anthony Rizzo and Gleyber Torres have had incredible resurgent seasons: after struggling with power in 2021, the former has 19 homers and the latter 13.
DJ LeMahieu and Isiah Kiner-Falefa haven’t been bad, but their presence in their position’s top-five has more to do with their team’s popularity than their own play.
Giancarlo Stanton, on the other hand, has been very good.
In any case, the Yankees’ offense has been stellar all year long, and it’s only logical to see most of their starters among the leading vote-getters at their positions.
