When off-days come during the MLB season, players want to do everything they can to take advantage of those days and enjoy each other’s company while they’re not on the field and competing.
Sometimes, it’s good to hit pause for a day and take a break from the constant grind.
That’s what three New York Yankees stars did last night.
The Yankees returned home after taking two out of three from the Toronto Blue Jays and are preparing for a weekend series against the Texas Rangers.
But Anthony Rizzo, Aaron Judge, and DJ LeMahieu decided to go out on the town and enjoy some drinks while attending a New York Rangers playoff hockey game.

Out On The Town
Sometimes, you just need a break from the grind.
It’s good that these guys got a chance to go out and have some fun.
But it’s not like they weren’t doing anything to pass the time.
They went out and supported one of their fellow New York teams and enjoyed some drinks together.
It’s always nice when two teams from the same city but not the same sport show a little solidarity with one another.
These three Yankee sluggers wanted to make sure the Rangers got some support from another New York team.
But more importantly, these guys were out having fun.
There’s nothing better to do on an off day than to go out and enjoy another sporting event with your teammates and have a few drinks together.
When the arena cameras focused on them, they raised their glasses to the Rangers in a show of good faith.
Sometimes, hitting pause for a day and going out for some drinks is all you need to reset and get prepared for the next game.
