Aaron Judge may be getting a raise soon.
The New York Yankees star right fielder is set to become a free agent after the 2022 season, and the Yankees may be looking to extend him soon.
Judge’s teammate, Giancarlo Stanton certainly hopes so.
While both players have dealt with more than their fair share of injuries during their time playing together, they still remain some of the top players in all of baseball.
Stanton hopes to see Judge extended soon, and also thinks that it will happen, while adding that he hopes to play the rest of his career in New York and alongside Judge.

Will Yankees Extend Judge?
Stanton certainly has some high hopes, and it remains to be seen what the Yankees think about potentially extending Judge.
Though he has dealt with some nagging injuries, Judge is still an MVP caliber player when he is healthy.
The Yankees may feel that it’s risky to give him a long-term extension given his injury history, but they certainly have the money to pull it off if they want to.
Even through injuries, Judge has remained a productive player and one can only assume that the Yankees are at least having conversations about signing him to a long-term extension.
And the Yankees may want to go ahead and lock up their core, especially after trading for Josh Donaldson.
New York already looks like a talented team on paper that can compete for an American League East division title and signing Judge would mean that they believe he can get healthy and stay healthy, as well as continuing to produce at a high level.
He was Rookie of the Year in 2017 and wasn’t far off from being an MVP.
