It’s safe to say that the New York Yankees are looking like a runaway train early on this season.

We’re about to June and they have only lost nine games thus far.

They own the best record in all of baseball and look like they are pulling away from the rest of the pack in the AL East.

There are many contributing factors to the Yanks’ stellar run, but there’s an interesting trend going on with them so far this season.

They are currently 19-2 when they score first and are looking to continue that trend.

A Yankees news Twitter page posted about the Yankees trend and how it has led to much of the team’s success.

Yanks Scoring First And Winning

This is an impressive trend the Bronx Bombers have going.

More often than not, if a team scores first, they win.

It’s always crucial to be the first ones on the board in a baseball game and it is paying dividends for the Yankees.

The team is on a roll and much of their success can be attributed to that statistic.

You always want to jump on your opponent early in a game so that you get things going and control the tempo of the game.

The ability to do that is something every good ballclub needs to have in order to win games.

Chances of winning go up drastically when a team scores first.

And if the Yankees win today after scoring first, that positive trend will continue.

The Yankees are a team that can jump on you early, so if you’re playing them, your team ought to be the ones to score first.
