In Sunday’s series finale against the Houston Astros, the New York Yankees‘ offense was dominated by the opposing team’s pitching staff.

They had endured a no-hitter on Saturday, and Sunday’s contest started off with six straight no-hit innings, too.

Jose Urquidy was on his game, and wasn’t allowing too many opportunities to the Yanks’ lineup.

Fans in the stands certainly didn’t enjoy those first six innings much, and it allowed supporters to shift their attention to some other activities off-the-field, but inside the stadium.

A girl was spotted performing the bottle flip challenge: she threw a bottle of water in the air to try and get it to “land” correctly.

It’s definitely harder than it looks: if you don’t believe us, you can try it yourself.

Some Action In The Stands

After a few attempts, fans started to notice her, record her, and cheer for her: they knew she was close to achieving her goal.

When she finally did, the whole section cheered and applauded her, celebrating her victory.

It was a cool moment, and, for a couple of hours, the only source of fun Yankees fans had in the game.

Fortunately for the Bombers, you just can’t shut down their offense for too long.

Giancarlo Stanton belted a long home run in the seventh inning to break the no-hit, no-run.

DJ LeMahieu hit a game-tying, two-run blast in the bottom of the eighth, and Aaron Judge once again delivered the final blow with a walk-off, three-run homer in the 10th.

After seemingly spending the whole weekend playing from behind, the Yankees ended up splitting the series with the Astros.

It was a cool series that included some off-the-field action, too, as our friend and her skills with the bottle can attest.
