Two weeks after individual Gold Glove Awards were announced for the American League and National League, two teams took home some elite defensive honors.
After the individual Gold Gloves are awarded, team Gold Gloves are handed out to the best defensive teams in each league.
This year, the recipients of the team Gold Gloves are the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals, the teams with the two most World Series titles in baseball history.
The Yankees and Cardinals each had two players win Gold Gloves.
New York had catcher Jose Trevino and DJ LeMahieu take home the honors, with LeMahieu winning the award for utility players.
For St. Louis, Nolan Arenado and utilityman Brendan Donovan won Gold Gloves.
In addition to their Gold Gloves, Arenado and Trevino each won the Platinum Glove Award for their respective leagues.
