On Friday, the Milwaukee Brewers had a game to forget as they were once again blown out by the scorching San Francisco Giants at home.
However, a scary moment took place in the bottom of the second inning with the Giants ahead 3-1 and Brian Anderson at the plate for the Brewers.
On an 0-1 pitch from Giants starter Alex Wood, Anderson lined a foul ball into the Brewers dugout, which ended up directly hitting Willy Adames in the head.
Adames was later removed from the game and ultimately hospitalized after this scary moment.
On Twitter, ClutchPoints posted a video of this terrifying incident.

Adames headed into the clubhouse after being hit by the foul ball.
The night didn’t get any better for the Brew Crew, as they ended up surrendering 12 more unanswered runs and falling to the red-hot Giants by a final score of 15-1.
But this was certainly a scary moment that took place for the Brewers in the bottom of the second.
Anderson called time and the game was briefly put on hold.
The Brewers slugger was clearly disturbed by what had taken place.
Even Wood was visibly distraught after Adames was hit.
The game resumed shortly thereafter, and the Brewers never recovered from this terrifying incident.
In the end, Milwaukee lost their second straight game and sixth out of their last 10.
The second-place Pittsburgh Pirates came to within a half-game of Milwaukee with their win as the Brewers continued their recent slump.
Hopefully, Adames will be okay and return to action soon.
