This holiday weekend, the MLB Dream Series is taking place.
The Dream Series is an event in which the top African-American high school baseball players throughout the country come together in Tempe, Arizona and enjoy a weekend of learning the game, testing their skills, and building a sense of community and friendship through baseball.
The event takes place at Tempe Diablo Stadium, the spring training home of the Los Angeles Angels.
Chicago White Sox Executive Vice President Ken Williams had the pleasure of observing the Dream Series this weekend.
This morning, Williams stopped by MLB Network to express his excitement for the next generation of ballplayers and how impressed he was with how they all conducted themselves.

Williams spoke mostly about the character of the players present and how impressed he was not only with them, but with the coaches involved for instilling that message and mentality within their players.
The Dream Series is not just about having the chance to see potential future stars test their skills and show what they can do, but also teaching them to develop a sense of character and what it truly means to be a professional baseball player.
Here, Williams is clearly impressed with what he has seen from these young men and is very excited to see what they could bring to the table in the future.
The Dream Series also gives these players a chance to realize their dreams and see the results of the hard work they have put in.
