The NFL season is at a turning point for most teams.
Over the next month, teams will look to play their way into the playoffs.
That means the pressure will rise across the league, especially for the head coaches.
There are a few coaches that are in make-or-break seasons.
But, one coach, in particular, needs to find some playoff success.
That is Brandon Staley of the Los Angeles Chargers.
In his second season with the Chargers, it is time for him to have postseason success.
The Chargers have an elite quarterback in Justin Herbert.

Yet, they are still fighting for their lives to stay in the playoff race.
Playoff Push
So far this season the Chargers are 7-6.
This puts them eighth in the AFC playoff picture and on the outside looking in.
The New England Patriots, New York Jets, and the Chargers will fight for the final Wild Card spot.
Staley will likely be on the hot seat if the Chargers do not finish this year in the playoffs.
Usually, the teams with the best quarterbacks have the best chance to make a deep playoff run.
But, Staley’s team always finds a way to shoot themselves in the foot.
Four of the Chargers’ six losses have been by one possession.
Also, with Staley being a defensive-minded head coach, you would think their defense is good.
Instead, the Chargers have a below-average defense this year.
They rank 29th in the league in points allowed per game with 25.1.
But, their defense had arguably their best performance of the year against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.
Biggest win of the Brandon Staley era.
Justin Herbert silences the haters.
The Chargers defense just had their best performance of the year without their two best players. Monumental.

They must continue to stop teams if they want to be playing in the playoffs.
