The NFL is full of elite wide receivers.
Over the past few seasons, we have seen more and more young players ascending to elite levels.
But, there are a few veterans that have been constants in the league.
One of those players is Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams.
The Raiders acquired Adams this offseason for a first and second-round draft pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
But, the 29-year-old receiver has been well worth it.
You could argue there is not a receiver playing at a higher level this year than Adams.
He has helped transform the Raiders’ offense, despite their 5-8 record.
But, where does Adams rank among the top wide receivers in the league?
One Of The Game’s Greats
He is easily a top-three wide receiver in the NFL, and here is the argument that he is number one.
No player has been more productive over the past six seasons than Adams.
He has three straight seasons of 1,100+ yards and 12+ touchdowns and has shown no signs of slowing down.
Despite not being the faster receiver in the NFL, no one is better at scoring touchdowns.
Since he entered the league in 2014, his 85 touchdowns are the most in the NFL.

His impact on a team is far more than other wide receivers.
We all see what has happened to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers offense this year now that Adams is gone.
The only other wide receiver that can match Adams’ impact is Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins.
Hill is the most explosive receiver in the league but does not convert touchdowns at the rate Adams does.
The last receiver is a budding star, that has ascended to elite status this year.
That is Minnesota Viking Justin Jefferson.
Jefferson has been awesome for the Vikings over his career, setting records seemingly every week.
He is even the receiving yards-per-game leader in NFL history.
Receiving yards per game leaders in NFL history:
1. Justin Jefferson, 95.4
2. Julio Jones, 89.3
3. Calvin Johnson, 86.1
4. Antonio Brown, 84.2
5. Michael Thomas, 83.8He's really HIM 😤 #skol pic.twitter.com/VVDXFM6yCK

But, the longevity of Adams and being able to dominate for more than one team puts him above the rest.
Hill and Jefferson are close, but the Raiders star is still the best in the game.
