The World Baseball Classic has reached its final day.
On Tuesday, a champion will be crowned as this legendary MLB event comes to a thrilling conclusion.
The matchup will be between the defending champion Team USA and Team Japan.
Both clubs have had to overcome some adversity to get to this point.
Team Japan is especially riding high following their jaw-dropping come-from-behind win over Mexico on Monday.
They rallied from 3-0 and 5-3 deficits to ultimately walk-off Mexico and advance to the next round on a game-winning hit by third baseman Munetaka Murakami in the bottom of the ninth.
On Twitter, the official WBC account tweeted a video of the hit along with the radio call.

The energy was certainly palpable after Murakami’s walk-off hit.
It’s as if they knew the ball was going to get down the second it left the bat.
Murakami gave it a ride.
It wasn’t enough for a home run, but it was more than enough to score the two winning runs and send Japan to the championship game.
It came down to the final three outs and Japan’s last chance.
But in the bottom of the ninth, Japan came through and continued their magical WBC run, prompting some excitement from the radio booth.
Now, they’ll match up against Team USA, who were staring elimination in the face on Saturday night in the quarterfinals, only to take the lead on Trea Turner‘s grand slam in the top of the eighth.
After their win over Venezuela, the United States took care of Cuba and are now set for a matchup for the ages.
