Trevor Lawrence was put into an incredibly difficult spot the moment he was drafted No. 1 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He was paired up with Urban Meyer, who was clearly in over his head from the start.
It was hard to predict just how bad things would go, leading to Meyer being fired after only 13 games.
The news came late in the night when most fans, and likely Jaguars players, were asleep.
That created a bizarre scenario described by Lawrence.
"It'll be an interesting day at work."

Lawrence said he woke up to a series of messages and did what any fan would do: he Googled it to learn more.
Back To Work
The quarterback mentions how his thought was that it would be an interesting day at work.
That was the most relatable part of the soundbite for any fan out there.
Meyer was out and everyone had to get back to work because there is still a game to be played Sunday.
The one thing clear about Meyer’s firing is that no one is too upset to see him go.
Lawrence spoke on how the team is extremely positive the first day with Meyer gone.
Interim coach Darrell Bevell even laughed when a reporter threw shade at Meyer.
Reporter: "I think you got a really got a chance to finish with more career wins as an interim coach than Urban has a HC."

The mood is good and no one seems to be making any effort to defend Meyer at all.
If anything, there is probably an overwhelming sense of relief especially for Lawrence.
He recently spoke on how the drama surrounding the team had to end.
All the drama he spoke about was related to Meyer.
He also had to plead for James Robinson, their top running back, to stop being benched.
The Jaguars can now play to their potential without the ego of Meyer running the show.
Just having a bit of fun could go a long way over the final four games of the season.
