The New York Yankees fell into an early 3-0 hole on Wednesday afternoon against the Oakland Athletics, but for Aaron Judge, that was no problem.
It’s safe to say that he is the clear-cut favorite to win the American League MVP Award, an award that he was robbed of in 2017 by Jose Altuve.
It might be time to just concede it to him.
With the Bronx Bombers trailing by three, Judge came up with a runner on and blasted yet another home run.
This one was no. 29 on the season, and it traveled 429 feet out to left field.
MLB on FOX tweeted the highlight and showed just how far this ball went off of his bat.

All Rise For No. 29
Judge has some strong hands and a strong bat at the plate.
This is the one guy in all of baseball, if there is anybody, that you absolutely should not pitch to under any circumstances when the game is on the line.
Judge is hitting home runs like nobody’s business.
This is the type of player everybody knows Judge to be.
Injuries have been a problem for the young slugger over the past few seasons, but he’s healthy this season and he’s making a strong case to earn AL MVP honors.
He hit that ball with authority too.
This is why you can’t leave one down the middle for a guy like Judge.
He’ll do exactly what he did there and hit it deep.
That’s what Judge has been doing all season long and it’s what he’ll continue to do it as long as he stays healthy.
We’ll see if it ultimately culminates in an MVP season for the slugger.
