The NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics are coming to an end.
Thursday night will bring us Game 6 of the Finals, which could result in the Warriors winning their fourth or the Celtics evening the series yet again, 3-3.
Even if Boston wins Game 6, the series is still nearly done because it will only go for one more after that.
We are incredibly close to crowning a NBA champion.
And if things keep going in the direction they’ve been headed, the winner might not be surprising.
The Warriors’ wings — Wiggins and Klay — have improved as the series has progressed while the Celtics’ — Tatum and Brown — have regressed.

Dieter Kurtenbach made a very good point on Twitter.
Does this mean that the Warriors are well on their way to another ring?
Not necessarily but the Celtics need to do something – and they need to do something fast.
Tatum and Brown have been a very important part of the team’s success all season long.
They really are one of the best backcourts in the entire NBA.
While they have still been playing well, they have had some issues over the last few games.
Tatum has been turning over the ball too much and Brown has been missing his three-point attempts (he went 0-of-5 in Game 5).
Meanwhile, Wiggins and Thompson have been heating up.
In fact, Wiggins led his team on Monday night with a wild 26 points.
All of this suggests that the Warriors are improving as the Celtics are declining.
Now, a lot can change in Game 6.
The Celtics are well aware that they’re not performing as they should.
They’ll be back on their home court Thursday night and will fight hard to turn things around and play as they have been for most of the postseason.
