It’s been several weeks since the Golden State Warriors won the 2022 NBA Finals – yet it feels like only yesterday to the team and its fans.
They are still on a huge high, celebrating such an immense victory over the Boston Celtics.
And a large part of that celebration involved many accolades for the team’s heart and soul, Steph Curry.
"He's one of the greatest players this league has ever seen."

Curry finally secured his first Finals MVP trophy and was an absolute unit on the court throughout the games.
He was easily the most important player on his team and was creating even more of a legacy for himself.
The Warriors deemed his work throughout the Finals as “absolutely spectacular” and it’s really hard to argue with that.
MVP Without A Doubt
Curry came into these Finals with a purpose: he was going to leave it all on the floor.
While he was doing this because he wanted his team to win, there is no doubt that part of him was also eyeing that trophy that eluded him for so long.
Sure enough, Curry got off to a great start and remained terrific, with an average of 31.2 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists through the six games.
There were other players on his team who helped a lot, of course, but Curry was easily the most consistent and most valuable athlete playing for the Warriors.
His fourth championship win may have been his most impressive yet because he did it years after his last and following some injuries and time away from the Finals.
Curry isn’t slowing down with age and he’s not slowing down now that he’s finally conquered the Finals MVP.
You can expect he will return with the same fury and fire when next season begins.
Curry just doesn’t quit.
