The Golden State Warriors are one of the most popular teams in the NBA.
The rise of their dynasty has helped them become one of the top franchises in all of sports.
But, on Friday they get to play in an atmosphere they have never experienced before.
That is because the Warriors will face the San Antonio Spurs in the Alamodome.
The Spurs are playing this game in the Alamodome to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their franchise.
But, the unique part for the Warriors is that this will be the single-game attendance record in NBA history.
It is not a coincidence that the Spurs chose to play the Warriors in this game.
They wanted the most eyes on this game as possible and that is what the Warriors give them.

The Alamodome is currently being used as the home stadium for the UTSA Roadrunners football team.
Despite this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the players, the Warriors need to focus on winning the game.
Golden State has lost three straight games and they have been brutal on the road this year.
Their 3-16 road record is the worst in the NBA, which is not usual for a team crowned the “road Warriors” in years past.
This upcoming five-game road trip should tell us a lot about Golden State.
Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins should be getting back to full strength with both returning from injuries recently.
Also, they should be feeling the urgency of winning games with a record of 20-21 halfway through the season.
Overall, the atmosphere at the Alamodome should be amazing and the Warriors should feed off of that.
