If the Golden State Warriors are going to get back to the NBA Finals – or even the playoffs – a lot will need changing.
Right now the team has been relying on Stephen Curry and mostly only him and it’s become clear that the four-time champion can only do so much.
The Warriors, just months away from their latest Finals win, are 5-8 and 13th in the West.
There are a couple of huge problems with the Warriors, and pretty of blame to spread around.
Klay has a history of shooting himself out of slumps. Not sure when it’ll happen, but when it does, it’ll be glorious.

One of the biggest issues with the team is its shooting, which has taken a tumble despite terrific work from Curry.
Take Klay Thompson, for example: he is only hitting 35.1% from the field, down from 42.9% last season.
And he’s sinking just 33% of his threes, down from his 38.5% from last season and his career high of 43.9% from a few years ago.
As TheWarriorsTalk noted, Thompson has shot himself out of slumps in the past but there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight for the current rut he’s stuck in.
Can Thompson shake it off?
Thompson’s Troubles
Thompson recently made a vow on social media that he was about to turn things around and become an All-Star again.
He will need to because the Warriors are hurting and other teams just aren’t afraid of them anymore.
You saw it on Sunday: the Sacramento Kings covered Curry knowing that they’d be more than comfortable with anyone – including Thompson – taking a shot.
That can’t be a good feeling for Thompson, who used to be one of the best shooters in the NBA.
The time has come, Thompson’s team needs him.
Can he once again become the player they want?
