At least Miller hints that was a definite possibility during his free agency process.
Ultimately he ended up with the Buffalo Bills, but his insinuation could make Cowboys fans wonder what could have been in 2022.

Miller And The Cowboys’ Defense
Despite being 33 years old, Miller had a career resurgence with the Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams in 2021.
He is an asset for his play on the field and his veteran leadership off the field.
Combining his talents with Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence could have been something special.
Why should the #Cowboys pursue Von Miller? They could have the monster defense that can rush the passer in all situations and take the pressure off of Dak Prescott. For Von? Home outside of Dallas, no state income tax, Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence. Stay tuned

Are The Bills More Super Bowl Ready?
If the 2021 season is any indication, the answer is yes.
The Bills were a coin-toss away from the AFC Championship game.
That overtime coin toss that went the Chiefs’ way sealed the deal for the Chiefs and ended the Bills’ impressive playoff run.
Von Miller is icing on the cake for the Buffalo Bills 🦬

On the flip side, the Cowboys lost in the wildcard round to the San Francisco 49ers.
They looked out of sorts and were barely competitive so if Miller was choosing teams based on who could get him back-to-back rings, Buffalo is the safer bet.
Super Bowl Odds After The NFL Draft
Now that the NFL Draft is over, it is time for oddsmakers to recalibrate the odds projections for the 2023 Super Bowl.
— Bovada (@BovadaOfficial) May 7, 2022
Bovada released its latest odds, and the Bills top the list.
Miller knew what he was doing signing with them.
Here are the postdraft Super Bowl odds courtesy of Bovada
- Buffalo Bills + 650
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers + 700
- Green Bay Packers +1000
- Kansas City Chiefs +1000
- Los Angeles Rams +1000
- Los Angeles Chargers +1400
- San Francisco 49ers +1400
- Denver Broncos +1600
- Cleveland Browns +1700
- Dallas Cowboys +1700
While the Bills top the list of teams most likely to win the 2023 Super Bowl at +650, the Dallas Cowboys come in a distant favorite tied with the Cleveland Browns at +1700.
It is that glorious time of year when all decisions make sense, and no one really knows the consequences.
Time will tell if the Cowboys would have been a better defense with Miller on the field in 2022.
For now, he appears to have chosen the right team to get back to the Super Bowl.
As always, we need to wait and see.
