For years, conspiracy theorists — and mostly bad gamblers — have claimed that the NFL is scripted.
Now, it became a running online joke after former Houston Texans star Arian Foster jokingly ‘admitted’ that the league gives the players a script for the season and that the weekly practice is actually a rehearsal of that game’s script.
That’s why Buffalo Bills star Von Miller wanted to appease Bills Mafia right away, assuring them that not only they will go to the Super Bowl next year but also that they’ll win it, as he already got the script for next season.
“I don’t even like saying hope, I know we’ll be back,” Miller said. “Plus the NFL script says the Buffalo Bills are going to win it next year.

This should go without saying, but all things considered, we might as well just get it out of the way: The NFL is not scripted.
I mean, why on Earth would the NFL constantly make the Dallas Cowboys — perhaps the most popular sports franchise in the league — so bad?
Why would a popular team like the Pittsburgh Steelers go so long without a Super Bowl win?
Or, with all due respect, why make the Kansas City Chiefs the team to beat right now when they could turn the New York Giants into a dynasty?
If it were so easy to win games — or even cash in on all your bets — then there would be no sports gambling industry; it’s as simple as that.
