The Buffalo Bills gave Von Miller a six-year, $120 million contract during the 2022 offseason.
It’s a lengthy deal for someone in his mid-30s.
However, the two-time Super Bowl champion is proving he is worth every penny.

NFL on CBS shared Miller’s rankings in key statistics through six weeks of the 2022 NFL season.
The eight-time Pro Bowler is tied for second in sacks with six, with league leader Alex Highsmith not far off with 6.5.
Miller is also tied for third in tackles for loss with eight and fifth in pressures with 26.
The fact that he’s doing this at age 33 is highly impressive.
It’s also a testament to his dedication to the game, especially in keeping himself in good physical condition.
His efforts also helped the Bills establish a 5-1 record through Week 6.
Aside from doing his best for the Bills, he is also imparting wisdom to his young but talented teammates on the defensive line, especially Greg Rousseau.
Miller’s addition fortified Buffalo’s defense, making them the second-best team in terms of total yards allowed with 281.5 per game.
The Bills are 11th in passing yards allowed (205.3) and first in rushing yards surrendered (78.2) per game.
Buffalo also limits their opponents to a top-ranked 13.5 points per game.
Miller Going For The Ultimate Prize
Maintaining this rate can make Miller a serious contender for Defensive Player of the Year.
It’s the only award lacking in his impressive resume.
Likewise, he can add an All-Pro and a Pro Bowl distinction if he remains consistent.
However, bringing a Super Bowl victory to the Bills will be his foremost mission.
If he does, he will be a part of the history books as the only player with three Super Bowls from three different teams.
Luckily for him, Buffalo has an explosive offense led by Josh Allen, Devin Singletary, Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, and Dawson Knox.
