There’s no question that the Toronto Blue Jays are ready to win.
The same can be said about their star first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who said that last season was merely a “trailer” and that this year we’re going to see the “movie” on what Toronto can do.
So it’s not surprising that Guerrero was excited for the 2022 season, but he comes into the new season looking completely different.
The Jays’ slugger lost 22 pounds, completely transformed himself, and now appears to be in the best shape of his life as the Blue Jays prepare to show us their “movie.”

Ripped Right Now
It’s no secret that Guerrero put the work in this offseason.
He was motivated to make a change and now is looking completely different thanks to that extra motivation and excitement to get going in 2022.
And the fact that he was able to do this during the lockout, when teams and players could not have any contact of any kind, shows what Guerrero is made of.
This is a guy who has ice water in his veins and is ready to compete at every turn.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect of this “movie” he was talking about was what he can do now that he has gone down from 261 pounds to 239.
The guy is ripped and ready to go and we can expect to see some long home runs off of his bat.
He is dedicated to his craft and is motivated to be the best player he can possibly be.
He’ll be the centerpiece of the Blue Jays in 2022, and after falling short in the MVP race last year, you can bet he’s ready to go out there and prove that he can win an MVP himself.
