The Toronto Blue Jays made a ton of noise this offseason, signing Kevin Gausman, Yusei Kikuchi, and Yimi Garcia and adding Matt Chapman via a trade with the Oakland A’s.
The Blue Jays look poised to dominate in the American League as they look like the clear favorites to win the AL East and the pennant following their busy offseason.
Toronto finished 91-71 in 2021, but missed the postseason by just one game, being eliminated from contention on the last day of the season.
But Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has high hopes for his team in 2022, saying that last year was only the beginning of what could be a run of success for the Blue Jays.

The Movie Is Coming
This is a bold prediction by Guerrero, but not a foolish one.
He believes in his team and what they accomplished this offseason.
This team looks ready to pounce on the opportunity to win some ballgames and take the AL by storm.
This is perhaps the only team that can hold a candle to what the Los Angeles Dodgers have on paper, and no other team in the AL is quite as stacked as Toronto is.
It’s going to be fun to watch this team.
Their lineup includes Guerrero, Chapman, George Springer, Cavan Biggio, and Bo Bichette, while their rotation has a solid top three of Gausman, Kikuchi, and Jose Berrios.
Guerrero says last year was just the trailer and that this year will be the movie.
This appears to be an exciting movie coming up, one that the baseball world is going to rave about when we see what this team can do.
They’ve got a powerful lineup and a deep pitching rotation, and the entire baseball world waits to see what this team can accomplish.
