Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been a real threat at the plate ever since his arrival on the big-league stage.
He is capable of putting up MVP-caliber numbers and has tremendous power.
The one thing that was holding him back a little bit was his defense.
He had struggled at third base for quite some time.
However, the Blue Jays made a decision to move him over to first base, where his defense has been much improved.
The 23-year-old star was asked about how he feels about playing first base, and his answer made him seem very confident playing there.
Guerrero said that he feels as if he has been playing first base his whole life.

First Base Comfort
This is a bold statement by Guerrero, but it mainly speaks to his comfort level and skill playing first base.
He seems to have found a home on the diamond at first, with his defense being much improved.
Guerrero is now more the complete player that everybody figured he would be.
But for him to say he feels like he has been playing first base his whole life shows that he finally feels comfortable on the field and believes in himself and what he can do out there to help his team.
Guerrero’s bat was never a question mark.
It was only his defense.
But he seems to have put any doubts about his ability to play defense to rest.
Time will tell if Guerrero ultimately becomes an elite defender at first base.
He already possesses a unique ability to mash baseballs.
If he remains comfortable at first base, he shouldn’t have any more problems on defense.
