This video went viral.
An unsuspecting Chargers fan fell asleep at halftime of Saturday’s game, expecting to wake up smiling, knowing that his beloved Chargers won this game, and would be heading to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence led an unexpected second-half comeback, stunning both Chargers players and fans alike.
What’s next for the Chargers?
The Chargers recently announced that they have fired their offensive coordinator, and are headed in a different direction moving forward.
Although many Chargers fans and NFL media members have called for the firing of head coach Brandon Staley as well, the team decided that they wanted Staley at the helm, leaving Joe Lombardi to fall on the proverbial sword.
Luckily for the team, they are led by young quarterback Justin Herbert, and also have weapons like Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, and Austin Ekeler at their disposal.
Whoever ends up as the Chargers’ next offensive coordinator will have a solid foundation to start with.
With a division that still has Patrick Mahomes as the clear number-one quarterback, and the Chiefs’ offense being as potent as it has ever been, the Chargers look to reload in 2023 with a new member of their coaching staff.
