There was so much drama inside the NBA over the summer that any book based on this offseason would be an instant bestseller.
And if Hollywood ever made a movie about the situation revolving around the NBA, Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets, the Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, and others, it would surely be a box office smash.
But who would star in such a movie if it were produced?
I need Jonah Hill to play Brian Windhorst if there’s ever a movie made on the life of LeBron James

How about Jonah Hill as NBA insider Brian Windhorst?
That’s the suggestion that Twitter user @JackAndHoops made and it’s wildly accurate and irresistible.
“I need Jonah Hill to play Brian Windhorst if there’s ever a movie made about the life of LeBron James.”
Now that you have pictured Hill as Windhorst in your head, there is no way you can picture anyone else playing the legendary sports reporter.
Movie Magic
There is no doubt that someday a movie about James and his time in the NBA will be created.
His career has been an iconic one so far and he still has a few more years left in him.
Plus, James himself is a movie producer so you know he could get the ball rolling on a great biopic.
Films and TV shows about basketball are becoming more popular too.
The HBO series “Winning Time” was a hit for its first season, telling the tale of Jerry Buss and his ownership of the Showtime Los Angeles Lakers.
Meanwhile, Hulu has a hit with their docuseries that also talks about the Lakers.
What other teams deserve such treatment?
Surely, some great material can be made about the Golden State Warriors and their current dynasty.
Or maybe there can be a horror film about everything the Nets had to deal with during the summer.
