In case you didn’t notice, Seattle Mariners slugger Jesse Winker had a somewhat rough Sunday.
He was one of the main actors in the melee between the Mariners and the Los Angeles Angels: he was one of the six players and two managers who was ejected from the game in the second inning.
Things got heated when Erik Swanson of the M’s threw a pitch at Mike Trout‘s head on Saturday night.
A day after, the Angels’ Andrew Wantz threw behind the head of Julio Rodriguez in the first inning.
After that, he hit Winker in the hip leading off the second inning, and a brawl followed.
The benches and bullpens cleared and lots of punches were thrown (and landed).
Winker was in the middle of the action.
A fan, however, wanted to do something cool for him.
“I just ordered a pizza for Jesse Winker from @MountainMikes Pizza in Anaheim. You deserve it big guy @Mariners,” a fan named Sofie tweeted.

A Cool Story And A Nice Gesture By A Fan
Not only that, but she provided a minute-by-minute update of the delivery process.
As you can probably imagine, it wasn’t easy for the delivery guy to deliver the pizza to Angel Stadium and to the visitors’ clubhouse.
That’s what he did, per Sofie’s instructions.
The cool thing, however, is that she made sure he earned a big tip by getting his payment details and publishing them for Mariners fans to tip him.
Winker not only got the pizza, but he thanked Sofie via DM.
“Sofie I got the pizza, thank you. I appreciate it a lot!” he said to her later on in the Twitter thread.
It was a cool story in which Mariners fans showed just how cool they are once again.
